Good Evening White Pass Elementary Families, The Elementary will be having its Books and Blankets reading celebration, Thursday, January 23rd, from 5:30-7:00 PM in the Elementary Gym. There will be crafts, games, stories, and a FREE book for everyone. This year's theme is: "Wild About Reading." Please plan to attend this great event.

SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH UPDATE
Following the retirement announcement of Dr. Paul Farris, our superintendent since July of 2017, the board of directors has engaged Northwest Leadership Associates to assist in identifying candidates for a full-time superintendent. Greggery Teel is our interim superintendent through the end of this school year.

The K-6 Elementary students have been working hard to make this a great Winter performance. On December 12th, we will be have a performance at 1:30 PM and at 6:00 PM. Please make sure you walk down to see the great door decorations.
Tomorrow, October 17, at 10:17 AM, students, family, and businesses will drop, cover, and hold on for the Great Washington Shakeout. The event also includes the tsunami siren test and evacuation drills in some schools. We will evacuate, but we will not practice the tsunami drill. Thank you and have a great evening.
