Summer 2025 Employment
Open to White Pass students and also homeschooled students within the White Pass School District.
White Pass students have enjoyed summer jobs in the national forest each summer since 2000. Students learn valuable work experience while supporting the Forest Service on its backlog of projects.
Starting at 7:30 am each day, students work 4 days/week for 5 weeks. Discovery Team crews work in the National Forest alongside Forest Service personnel.
Previous years’ projects included work at Mt. St. Helens, Woods Creek, La Wis Wis Campground, trailheads and trail work.
A memorable summer is in store for students that join the Discover Team.
