The WPHS art students painted banners for the firefighters serving the Cowlitz complex fires. These are long days away from family for the brave men and women protecting the local communities from the fires. Art teacher, Emily Taibleson and WP art students showed their appreciation with banners and thanks.
Hi Emily,
I wanted to thank you and your art class for making those amazing posters for us. I was able to hang them in our meeting tent for everyone to see. I received so many comments about how thoughtful and appreciated they were. It was very uplifting. Attached are pictures of where they are hanging for morning briefings. Our team will be leaving on the 11th, but I will keep them hung up so the next team can be uplifted by them as well. THANK YOU!!!
