Our humble thanks go out to all the veterans across our valley and throughout the country.
An all-school assembly was held at the high school on Monday, November 10. Veterans where escorted to their seats by student escorts. The gym rang with splendor as all rose to recite the Pledge of Allegiance together.
The Elementary Kindergarten, First and Second Grades performed "America the Beautiful" with sign and song.
The High School ASB planned and hosted the event and soldiers yet missing from our tables were honored.
In closing "You're A Grand Old Flag” was sung by all in attendance. Veterans then enjoyed sweet treats after the assembly.
We appreciate the community coming to the assembly and especially each veteran.
