Ms. Taibleson’s AP Art class has been working hard this quarter to get started on their projects’ theme for the year. Each student must have 15 completed assignments by the end of the year. So far, students have been completing projects and enjoying experimenting. There are six students enrolled in AP Art who include Kelly Pakar, Katelyn Matchett, McKenna Mathews, Emarey Hampton, Jordan Koetje, and Amelia Berg. Kelly, Emarey, McKenna, and Amelia focused their first nature assignments on seasonal subjects with leaves, pumpkins, and fall colors to embrace the time of year. Jordan continues an animal awareness theme while Katelyn develops her skills of drawing people. Currently, all the students are working on a class project of trees to compare each other’s techniques and explore the different art materials.
