Our district will host a community meeting to discuss ALICE training.  ALICE is a training program for school safety and lockdowns, and it stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, & Evacuate.  This program is endorsed by federal and state law enforcement authorities, and is used by several other school districts in our region.  White Pass Schools will begin ALICE training this spring, and we wanted to provide an opportunity to share with our community what that training will look like.  Dept. Kangas of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and district staff will be on hand to present information and answer questions.  The meeting is at 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 20th, in the High School Commons.  I hope to see you there.
