Greetings Parents/Guardians,
We received some questions related to our modified lockdown on Thursday. A modified lockdown is when we lock all doors and students stay inside for activities. We do modified lockdowns when we want to be proactive and extra cautious regarding potential safety issues. Please know that at no time were students in harm's way. We appreciate parents and guardians talking to your student(s) about the importance of following routines and staff directions so that if there is an event where safety is a factor, we all are ready for it.
