 Greetings and Salutations,

This promises to be a year filled with golden opportunities for all of our students as we strive to find ways that we can be even better than we have before!  We embark on this journey with a pledge to you, our students and parents, that this will be a year of engaging, meaningful and rigorous work in our classrooms, combined with special events, extracurricular clubs and activities, performing arts groups, and athletic teams certain to encourage our students to be involved and stay connected!

The year begins with an Open Door on August 29th from 3:15 to 6:00 pm for the Jr./Sr. High and Elementary. Parents and students will be able to visit teachers, retrieve student schedules, acquire a locker, and checkout a Chromebook. Parents can also use this time to purchase ASB cards, complete free & reduced lunch forms, and update student contact information.

The first day of school will be August 30thWe will be having an all-school picture that morning.

Other News-

*This year, all students will be able to access the free breakfast and lunch program.

* We will also be offering a 2nd breakfast to students arriving late.

 

* We would like to welcome our new staff members:

Alex Baker -CTE Woodshop, Metalshop, Small Gas Engines.

Danya Hanks- Not New, but a new position for ALE, Credit Retrieval, HomeLink, and Spanish.

Ella Scott- 7-12 Science, Agricultural Education, and FFA

Eric Sniezak- CTE Business, Keyboarding, Digitools, and FBLA.

 

*Support your local ASB and PTO at the Packwood Flea Market in September. Prime parking will be available behind the Historical Museum (Former Packwood Elementary) for your convenience.

*The first home football game is Sept. 16th vs. Forks, and the first volleyball home game is Sept 7th vs. Raymond.

We look forward to a very positive and productive year together!  We extend a special, yearlong invitation to our families to join us at school activities and events whenever possible.  We want . . . we need . . . and we value your involvement and support in your child’s education!  Your active participation is key to the success of our students.  Also, we encourage you to contact us if/when the need arises, and to stay in the know about your child’s studies, assignments, assessments, and school activities, as well as other events and happenings.
