Mrs. Almquist's English 105 (AP Lit and Comp) class had their literary Bake Off today. There were ten team entries, all fabulous.
Based on the short stories, poems, and scripts read throughout the year students chose their favorite and then created a cake to represent their choice. The taste, decorations, and design all had to symbolize components of the story.
In addition to creating a sensational cake, each group had to submit an essay explaining the symbolism in their cake and present it to an audience.
Staff and students had the opportunity to taste the cake and listen to presentations before judging. The winner will be revealed later this week.
