Yesterday, one of our students tested positive for COVID. All students, families, and staff who are potential close contacts have been notified.
The student had not been in school since January 21, 2021. Any student or staff that were exposed have been contacted and are now quarantining.
Today, I was informed that one of our employees in transportation has been exposed, and therefore that person is quarantining.
The district is vigilant in immediately doing contract tracing to anyone who may have been exposed and is working closely with the department of health.
If you have not been contacted, you have not been identified as someone who may have been exposed.
