Introducing . . .

White Pass Home Link

Home Link is a new, free, K-8 alternative education program for White Pass students. It’s a great family-directed way to educate your child at home, while staying enrolled and connected to the White Pass School District and your community.

Home Link is a partnership between families and the school district. Families and staff will join together to create an individualized learning plan for each student.

A parent or other family member will be the student’s primary learning coach at home, with support from a certified teacher and the program director.

Home Link students are enrolled in White Pass Schools, and have access to the resources available to all public school students in Washington. At the same time, families will enjoy the benefits of being highly involved in their children’s learning in a more flexible, independent setting at home.

Daily instruction is managed by the learning coach at home, with support from a teacher and the director. Home Link students have daily access to a teacher, weekly check ins with the director, and monthly progress reports.

We’ll use the OdysseyWare online curriculum, which is flexible, engaging, easy to use, and teaches our state standards.

You won’t be alone—we’re in this together! To build community, we’ll have Home Link in-person activities and field trips (as allowed by public health agencies), and we’ll make connections between families who live near each other and/or have similarly aged kids.

Home Link has a minimum commitment of one semester. Space for this innovative home-based education platform is limited; classes start up September 1. Please contact me at (360-496-4409) or Nancy Nebeker (360-497-3791) to learn how to enroll.

Home Link provides an excellent education in a setting that best meets your family needs.

I look forward to hearing from you!
